Reminders!
* Dress Rehearsal for Fusion Force Dance Company Dance Gala 2013 is Wednesday, May 22nd at 4:30pm. We will begin at 5pm. We will start with the finale, but please wear your first costume of the evening. We will dress rehearse all solos, duets and Fusion Force group dances that are performing in the Gala. The rehearsal is at Royal Palm Beach High School. Please see website and/or bulletin board for dress rehearsal order.
* 2013 Finale costume: black FFDC senior tank shirt and black booty shorts (no cheeks hanging out), bare feet.
* Remember to fill out an application form for student helper classes for Summer 2013 classes and Fall 2013-2014 classes. Dancers can obtain these forms from Ms. Jessica.

Summer 2013 If you are planning to continue as a member of Fusion Force Dance Company for the Fall 2013-2014 dance season, you are required to dance over the summer months. The minimum dance requirement can be fulfilled by attending the 6 weeks of summer technique classes or 2 full weeks of mini camp. If you are registering for the 6 week program, you must take at least five technique classes per week (one of which must be ballet). If you are starting in beginning pointe this summer, this does not fulfill the ballet requirement. You must be registered for a ballet technique class (Sr. Ballet) in addition to any pointe work that you are doing over the summer months. Please note: You must let the directors know of your summer plans in writing regarding extended vacations so that proper arrangements can be made. Other dance programs/conventions/workshops must be approved by the directors to fulfill the Fusion Force requirement and will be met on a case by case basis. These must be submitted in writing as well. Dance Company Contracts are due by Tuesday, June 18th.

Summer is also the time to start solos, duos and trio work. Teachers will be available to choreograph during the summer program. The front has each individual teacher’s availability as of now. To reserve your lessons, fees must be paid in advance and teachers should have music in advance of the first private lesson.

There will be 2 mandatory FFDC rehearsals scheduled for the summer.
Summer 2013 Fusion Force Dance Company Rehearsal Schedule:
Wednesday, August 21st from 6-8pm
Thursday, August 22nd from 6-8pm

Fall 2013-2014 All dance company members are expected to register for a minimum of four technique classes, which must include ballet and tap and the Fusion Force Dance Company Stretch/Technique Class that meets on Saturdays from 12:30-1:30pm. The extra technique class is not a “recital” class.

*If any member of Dance Company is not planning to return as a member of Fusion Force for the 2013-2014 dance season, please let the directors know as soon as possible. We do begin to plan out next seasons dances well in advance, so it will help us for planning purposes.

Dance Company contracts for the 2013-2014 will be distributed before Dance Gala. Small group invitations will be mailed out the week by Tuesday, June 18th. The contract runs from June 2013-June 2014. All contracts must be returned to the directors before accepting an invite for small group pieces or before summer classes begin.

March 10th: Fusion Force Dance Company group photography starting at 9:30am on Sunday, March 10th. All dancers must arrive in their FFDC warm-up suit with hair in a low ponytail and makeup done. Dance company earrings should be worn. Please set up your belongings in Studio 5, all photography will take place in Studio 6.

February 27th: The week is moving quickly and as you prepare for "Ticket to Broadway" we want to remind our dancers to continue to push themselves for flawless technical performances all while remembering that the performance "QUALITY" is what will send you to the top! Just when you think you have dug deep enough....dig deeper! You'll surprise yourself! Keep dancing from your heart and continuing to make us proud.

February 23-24th: We wanted to congratulate the team on wonderful performances last weekend at the "Move" Competition. So much awesome feedback for "Takeover" - the judges were captivated!

February 10th: Congratulations to Fusion Force Dance Company members on their successes at DMA Florida Chapter #2 competition and convention this weekend. Our students won many honors.

January 27th: Mission Accomplished! FFDC put on an incredible show! Congratulations to every single member of our our team and our support system. The faculty is proud and excited for the remainder of this season! Going into competition season confident and well rehearsed!

Thank you to all of our volunteers who have helped us to prepare for a show of this magnitude in such a short time. We honestly could not do it without all of your support and love.
