FFDC Solo Critique & One-on-One Feedback Sessions – Registration Now Open!

We are excited to announce our upcoming Solo Critique and One-on-One Feedback Sessions with two esteemed guest judges! This is a valuable opportunity for dancers to receive individualized coaching to help refine their performances and prepare for the upcoming season.

Session Details

  • Date: Sunday, January 11th

  • Start Time: 10:00 AM

  • Session Length: 15 minutes per dancer

  • Cost: $65 per session (to compensate our guest judges for their time travel & expertise)

  • Capacity: Limited to the first 24 dancers

  • Break: 1:00–1:30 PM (judges’ rest break)

  • End Time: Approximately 4:30 PM

What to Expect

Each dancer will:

  • Arrive in costume, fully warmed up, with their music ready on their phone.

  • Be accompanied by one parent, who may enter the studio to assist and place a phone on the tripod to record.

  • Perform their solo for the two guest judges.

  • Receive immediate, personalized feedback designed to elevate their performance.

At the end of the 15-minute session, dancers may retrieve their phone and will be able to use both the recording and the critiques to continue improving and implementing the notes given.

Scheduling

Time slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Your confirmed session time will be sent to you via 
text and/or email once registration is complete.

Guest Judge Spotlight: Suzanne Citere

We are honored to welcome Suzanne Citere, one of South Florida’s most respected dance educators.

Suzanne hails from New York City, where she trained with some of the country’s finest instructors. After relocating to Lighthouse Point in 1996, she became a beloved educator at Dance Theatre of Parkland, Dance Theatre of Broward, and Broward Dance Academy. With 40 years of experience, Suzanne has shaped generations of dancers with her expertise and passion.

In 2003, she founded RealDance, which has raised hundreds of dancers and earned numerous regional and national championship titles. Suzanne is a graduate member of Dance Masters of America and a graduate of the Dance Educators of America Teacher Training School. Her career includes serving five years as Director of Entertainment for Club Med Inc. and choreographing extensively across Europe and the Middle East.

Certified by the National Dance Council of America, Suzanne judges for highly regarded competitions such as American Dance AwardsStarQuest, and CanDance.

Her students have gone on to perform on Broadwaytelevisioncruise linesfilms, and national tours.
RealDance graduates have been accepted into prestigious dance programs including Pace University, FSU, NYU, University of Michigan, CCM, Boston Conservatory, UArts, UF, and Point Park University.

Among her many honors, she was named teacher of greatest influence for 2014 U.S. Presidential Scholar of the Arts Connor Yockus, recognized by the Broward County Commission on the Status of Women, featured in Previvors, and awarded Dance Educators of America’s Member of the Year in 2026. A proud Lighthouse Point resident since 1996, she was named a Keeper of the City in 2020.

Her contributions to dance, education, and the community continue to inspire.
