Summer Dance Intensive (Level 2 & Up)
Full Day (9AM – 4:30PM, Mon–Fri) – Includes Informal Performance on Friday
Early Bird by March 1st: $475/week or $900 for both weeks ($450 a week for 2 weeks)
Regular Rate: $525/week after March 1st
Guest Faculty, Master Classes, Ballet, Contemporary, Specialty Classes, Informal Performance & more
Dates: June 1-5 & June 22-26
Time: 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Studio opens at 8:30am for early drop off and self warm-up and stretch time)
Age Groups: Elementary, Middle/High School (suitable for That’s Dancing students training at a level 2 class or higher)
Level Options: Two levels to suit dancers at different stages of development
This immersive program welcomes those with prior dance experience who are eager to hone their skills and deepen their artistry. Participants will engage in rigorous daily training that focuses on fundamental ballet techniques while exploring the expressive qualities of contemporary dance as well as other genres.
What to Expect:
Daily Ballet Technique Classes: Strengthen your foundation with essential barre work, center exercises, and variations that emphasize proper alignment, flexibility, and musicality.
Contemporary Dance Training: Discover the fluidity and dynamic movement of contemporary dance through innovative choreography that encourages self-expression and creativity.
Master Classes & Specialty Classes: Gain insights from guest instructors who are leaders in the dance community, offering unique perspectives and techniques to broaden your dance vocabulary.
Informal Performance on Friday: Guests are invited to peek into our week with an informal showing and a chance for our participants to perform and share.
This intensive is perfect for dedicated dancers looking to advance their training in a supportive & inspiring environment. Participants should come prepared to work hard, take risks, and ignite their passion for dance!
*lunch is not provided - all dancers should pack lunch, snacks and water each day.
*All Intensives/Camps: Level will be determined by directors and faculty. You do not need to register for a level.

Creative Spaces Camp (Ages 6–12)
Full Day (9AM – 4:30PM, Mon–Fri) – Includes Informal Performance on Friday

Explore the intersection of technique and creativity through technique classes, improvisation sessions, choreography workshops, and multimedia exploration. Leadership opportunities available for ages 13+ (inquire within).

Camp Description: This unique summer program is designed for dancers ages 6-12 who are eager to explore the intersection of technique & creativity. Over the course of the camp, participants will immerse themselves in a supportive and inspiring environment that encourages self-expression and artistic growth. Mastering dance techniques is just the beginning and each day, campers will engage in dynamic classes that help build a strong foundation in various dance styles, from ballet to contemporary, hip-hop to improvisation. Skilled instructors will guide dancers in refining their skills & exploring their individual movement preferences. The real magic happens when we step outside of traditional boundaries. Campers will have the opportunity to unleash their imaginations through a series of engaging activities, including:
Improvisation Sessions: Dancers will explore spontaneous movement and learn how to connect with their bodies, allowing for personal expression and the discovery of unique movement styles.
Choreography Workshops: Participants will collaborate in creating original pieces, working with fellow campers to combine their ideas, styles, and perspectives into cohesive works of art.
Multimedia Exploration: Tapping into various mediums, dancers may incorporate visual arts, music, and even spoken word to enrich their routines and develop interdisciplinary projects.

June 15–19, 2026
Acrobatics Intensive (Level 1 & Up)
Half Day (9AM – 12:30PM, Mon–Fri)
Early Bird by March 1st: $275/week
Regular Rate: $300/week after March 1st
Two levels available to suit dancers at different stages of development. Focus on strengthening acrobatic skills, balance, flexibility, coordination, and conditioning with Acro Arts Certified Instructors.
Dates: June 15-19 2026
Time: 9:00am - 12:30 PM (Studio opens at 8:30am for early drop off and self warm-up and stretch time)
Age Groups: Elementary, Middle/High School (suitable for That’s Dancing students training at a level 1 or higher)
Level Options: Two levels to suit dancers at different stages of development
Schedule:
9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Warm-Up & Flexibility Training
Start with a dynamic warm-up routine to prepare your body for the rigorous activities ahead. Emphasis on flexibility exercises to improve range of motion.
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM: Fundamental Skills Training
Focus on essential acrobatic skills including handstands, rolls, and cartwheels. Instructors will guide you through proper techniques and safety tips.
10:00 AM - 11:00AM: Partner Work & Group Acrobatics
Explore the exciting world of partner acrobatics! Work with peers to learn lifts, balances, and synchronized movements, building trust and teamwork.
11:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Tricks & Transitions
Learn advanced tricks, such as aerials and flips, along with seamless transitions between moves to enhance your routines.
12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Cool Down & Feedback Session
Conclude with a cool-down stretch while receiving personalized feedback from instructors. Discuss progress and set goals for what to work on next.
** Participants will be grouped according to their experience to ensure tailored instruction.
June 6 – July 18, 2026
6-Week Summer Program (Ages 3 & Up)
TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON & EVENINGS / SATURDAY
June 6th – July 18th *NO CLASS ON JULY 4TH
Beginner Intermediate Classes: For dancers ages 7-11 with 1-2 year of experience of no experience at all. (Dancers finishing Level 1 & 2 should enroll in this level.)
Workshop Classes: For dancers ages 7-11 with 3-5 years of experience (Dancers finishing Level 3 & 4 should enroll in this level.)
Teen Intermediate Classes: For dancers ages 11 and up. (Beginner teenager and dancers finishing in teen or intermediate level classes should enroll in this level.)
Advanced Classes: For dancers ages 11 and up with experience. (Dancers finishing in intermediate advanced, advanced, 1x, 2x should enroll in this level.)
Adult Classes: For dancers ages 18 and up, these classes range from beginner through intermediate advanced level and class can be modified to suit you needs and personal goals.

*Students interested in becoming student ambassadors must complete the application process. Applications are available from Ms. Nicole and student
ambassadors will be assigned according to qualifications and need.. Faculty sign off on official volunteer hour paperwork. Applicants will be

Full Payment for session is due at the time of Registration along with a registration fee for the session.
Tuition is not pro-rated for absences. Please review the make-up policies.
Private lessons are charged at $40 per 30 min session for registered students and must be paid in full at time of scheduling. Semi Privates lessons are
charged at $30 per dancer per 30 min session and must be paid for at time of scheduling. 24 hour notice must be given for cancellations or full lesson
price will apply. An additional $10 is charged for non-students.

Contemporary Dance Lab connects the next generation of dance to recent alumni and students of Juilliard Dance. At CDL programs, students are encouraged to explore their own artistic and professional voice, whether it be through creative processes or repertoire work. In collaborative and supportive environments, dancers build meaningful connections with their art form, fellow dancers and faculty.
Dancers 12+ who participate will be considered to earn a full scholarship to CDL’s annual summer intensive in Toronto!
