We are thrilled to announce that So Flo Tap Fest presents ENDLESS SUMMER on August 17th, 2025! Get ready to immerse yourself in a day filled with SUNNY BEATS & TAP TREATS featuring the amazing Chris Broughton & Aaron Parkhurst.

We have designed an exciting lineup of tracks tailored for various age groups and experience levels:

Middle & High School with Experience TRACK
Time: 10:30 am - 6:00 pm
Fee: $250 (Early Bird: $200 before July 15th)
Description: Full Day Intensive – Includes 4 Technique Classes, Improvisation & Scholarship Classes.

Elementary School 8+ with Experience TRACK
Time: 10:30 am - 3:45 pm
Fee: $165 (Early Bird: $115 before July 15th)
Description: Full Day Intensive – Includes 2 Technique Classes, Improvisation & Scholarship Classes.

Adults & Teachers TRACK
Time: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Fee: $70 (Early Bird: $50 before July 15th)
Description: Includes 2 Technique Classes.

Beginners Ages 5-8 TRACK
Time: 9:45 am - 11:15 am
Fee: $65 (Early Bird: $45 before July 15th)
Description: Includes 2 Technique Classes.

Additional Information:

  • Pay by class at $45 each.

  • Scholarship Class is exclusively for dancers registered for the full event.

Christopher Broughton is a distinguished tap dancer, choreographer, and instructor originally from Los Angeles, CA. He began his dance journey at the age of 11 under the mentorship of Paul and Arlene Kennedy at Universal Dance Design, joining the esteemed Kennedy Tap Company. Christopher is a two-time recipient of the national NAACP ACT-SO Award and currently a proud member of the renowned New York-based tap company, Dorrance Dance, directed by MacArthur Genius Grant winner Michelle Dorrance. His impressive performance resume includes appearances in Broadway’s Tony and Astaire Award-winning productions "After Midnight" and "Jelly's Last Jam," as well as notable events such as Capezio’s 130th Anniversary, New York City Center’s "Cotton Club Parade," and the Kennedy Center’s "Juba! Masters of Tap and Percussive Dance." In addition to performing, Christopher has shared his talent as a choreographer and instructor on a global scale, with teaching engagements in Brazil, Finland, and Germany. Known for his athletic choreography, infectious charisma, and bold artistic vision, he is also recognized for his work in "Spirited" (2022) and "Sound Language" (2020). As an ambassador for @sodanceusa, a faculty member at Groove Dance Convention, and a valuable contributor to the tap dance community, Christopher Broughton continues to inspire dancers around the world.

Aaron Parkhurst has over two decades of Tap dance experience, he received his early dance training in his hometown of Albany, NY, and has worked professionally for the past 10 years in NYC, which he now calls his home. Aaron currently tours teaching Tap for Revel Dance Convention, has toured with Break The Floors 24 Seven Dance Convention, Shuffles NYC, Dance Masters of America and Sheer Talent Competition and Convention. Currently you can catch him teaching at Broadway Dance Center in New York City, as well as the American Tap Festival , a week long tap intensive directed by Mike Minery and Anthony Morigerato. He also teaches weekly classes throughout NYC, and travels the country to choreograph and instruct master-classes. Aaron enjoys teaching and passing on his love for dance to younger generations, his passion for dance education has lead him to the title of Area Director for the Inspirare Dance Workshop, a personalized dance intensive that encourages personal and professional growth for dancers of all levels and ages! Aaron has also enjoyed a career in concert dance, working as a soloist and collaborator. Solo performances include “The Best of Duke Ellington’s Sacred Concerts” conducted by Roland Carter. He has traveled through Europe Dancing with The Tap Factor, danced on season 1 of NBC’s hit show World of Dance. He was a company member and soloist for AM Dance Project, in New York City under artistic director Anthony Morigerato, and performed at the NY City Center in the 125th anniversary show for Capezio. Aaron was also a performer, in TAP: The Show!, choreographed by Mike Minery, as well as the associate choreographer and dance captain for the National Tour. Aaron has danced, choreographed, and entertained for corporations such as FedEx, Hershey Entertainment, and Gaylord Opry Entertainment among others. Favorite theatre credits: 42nd Street, White Christmas, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and My One and Only. @apk360
