SO FLO TAP FEST PRESENTS... FULL CIRCLE - CELEBRATING THE PAST. INSPIRING THE FUTURE. Sunday, August 23, 2026
For more than a decade, So Flo Tap Fest has been dedicated to bringing world-class tap education to South Florida while fostering a spirit of unity and community among dancers of all studios and backgrounds.
Founded on the belief that meaningful experiences happen in studios, classrooms, and communities—not necessarily hotel ballrooms—So Flo Tap Fest was created to provide opportunities for dancers who want more and to build a thriving tap community throughout South Florida.
Her journey embodies the mission of So Flo Tap Fest and serves as a reminder that sometimes the most beautiful stories come full circle.
Rhythm is the foundation. Where it takes you is limitless.
Tatiana Nuñez grew up training at That's Dancing under the direction of founder Andrea LaMaina and attended So Flo Tap Fest as a young dancer. Today, she is performing in Disney's The Lion King on Broadway and returns home to share her artistry and experience with the next generation.
This year, we celebrate a beautiful full-circle moment.

BEYOND THE WOOD
At So Flo Tap Fest, we believe that tap dance is more than an art form—it is a foundation.
Tap dance develops musicality, coordination, rhythm, strength, artistry, and a deeper understanding of movement that transcends the wood and influences every genre of dance.
The artists joining us for FULL CIRCLE are not only celebrated tap dancers, but accomplished professional artists whose careers span Broadway, concert dance, musical theatre, choreography, music, and contemporary movement.
Whether a dancer's path leads to Broadway, ballet, contemporary dance, commercial work, choreography, teaching, or simply a lifelong love of the art form, the lessons learned through tap dance extend far beyond the studio floor.
Because the impact of tap dance reaches far beyond the wood.

OUR MISSION
Under the direction of So Flo Tap Fest Founder, Director, and Producer Andrea LaMaina, with the support of Co-Lead Assistant Directors Nicole Smith and Kelly Krammer, So Flo Tap Fest remains committed to bringing world-class tap education to South Florida while fostering a spirit of collaboration and community among dancers of all studios and backgrounds.
Built as a passion project and sustained by an incredible community, the festival continues to provide opportunities, create meaningful connections, and inspire the next generation of artists.
Tatiana Nuñez's journey—from young So Flo Tap Fest participant and That's Dancing student to Broadway performer in Disney's The Lion King—embodies that mission and reminds us why we continue to invest in the future of this art form.
Because the impact of tap dance reaches far beyond the wood.
